The EHC pilot system will present a state-based portal for the investigation, preparation and lodgement of complying development applications. At the point of lodgement the complying development application can be transferred from the state-based portal to the Role Model Council or Role Model Certifier system to be determined. Where possible, this business process exchange is made via eDAIS.
The EHC is seeking to implement and seek conformance certification for two eDAIS transactions:
i) Create Application: Or the proposal of a new application, is defined as a commerical transaction that consists of Propose, Accept and Reject business messages; and
ii) Declare Application: Or the declaration of a determination of the application, is a notification transaction that consists of a single Notification business message.
Essentially, the eDAIS messages involved in the EHC will allow a Role Model Council or Role Model Certifier to determine an application in their own system and report back to the State-based platform.
More information on eDAIS can be found on our Learning and Knowledge portal.
If you have questions relating to eDAIS conformance, you can contact Mr Stuart Macnish (National eDAIS coordinator) on (08) 9264 7790 or by email. Alternatively, if you have NSW specific eDAIS questions, you can contact Mr Wayne Williamson (e-Planning Program Officer) on (02) 9228 6159 or by email.
