On the 6th September 2011, the Minister for Planning and Infrastructure announced that the Electronic Housing Code (EHC) pilot project had been successful in obtaining an additional $4.3 million.
This grant is for the expansion of the Electronic Housing Code to include:
- Up to 24 additional Councils in NSW and additional Private Certifiers operating in those areas;
- The Commercial and Industrial Code within the system.
The EHC project management office will be commencing an Expression of Interest for the additional Councils shortly.
