The Electronic Housing Code (EHC) project management office is currently looking for additional Private Certifiers to join the project. Interested parties will need to submit an Expression of Interest. The relevant documents are found below.
A briefing session was held on the 20th January 2012 for any interested Certifiers at the Bridge Street office of the Department of Planning & Infrastructure. Please note that attendance was not mandatory. A copy of the presentation made at that session is available below and responses to questions asked on the day can be found by clicking here.
Please note, Councils currently involved in the Electronic Housing Code project are also required to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) if they wish to amend the local government areas they provide Certifying services for.
The Expression of Interest process will close on the 17th February 2012. Late applications will not be accepted.
Once interested parties have returned their EOI, an independent selection panel will convene to select the additional Certifiers. The final decision will then be announced in March 2012.
