An additional 25 Accredited (Private) Certifiers will now be able to approve complying development applications through the Electronic Housing Code (EHC) system, tripling the number of certifiers involved.
This follows an Expression of Interest process earlier this year, and the review of applications by an independent selection panel.
The additional Certifiers will be added to the EHC system over the next six months following a business process mapping exercise and training on the system. To view the list of additional Certifiers, please click here.
If you are interested in being involved in the EHC project, Expressions of Interest will be invited in mid 2012 for additional NSW councils and certifiers to join the program. More information will be available from this website.
